12th-18th March 2018
Everyone has heard of Rioja Wine and Cava, many have heard of Ribera del Duero Wines and perhaps Rueda, but Spain produces so much more than from just these regions. One of the oldest Wine producing countries in the world and considered one of the most interesting for the varieties in styles, techniques, grape varieties. at El Borracho we pride ourselves on our exclusively Spanish wine list of over 50 Bins including many Rioja's, Ribera's and wines from other areas.
However during the week of 12th to 18th of March we are looking forward to highlighting some of the more unusual and unheard of Spanish Wines in our "Hidden Spain Wine Week". A variety of Whites and Reds will be available all week by the Glass, Carafe and Bottle with tasting notes and on Friday 16th of March from 7pm Nick Clemow from Bibendum Wines will be hosting a Wine tasting with a limited amount of spaces for £19.50 per person to try all 6 of our "Hidden Wines" and talk to us all about their history, technique and what makes them each unique.
To join our Wine tasting event on Friday the 16th, booking is essential and a £5.00 deposit per person will be payable in order to secure spaces, however if you wish to simply come during the week and try any of our hidden wines (or all of them) by the glass or the carafe then please just make a normal table reservation with us and order your wines on arrival.
